Here’s what they had to say about working at Share Lawyers:
Why do you like your job?
“The atmosphere is great – we help lots of people, we all get along great – staff and lawyers.”
“The good thing about Share Lawyers is that it’s teamwork, helping each other. The setting itself – you can talk to each other. If someone needs a helping hand, then we can help each other”.
“Everyone is helpful regardless of their positions.”
“I really like the work environment because we work well as a team. Everyone knows their roles so it makes it a lot easier. I’m learning a lot, and there always something to learn.”
“I like speaking with people and understanding their situation.”
“I like helping people. I like the environment of the office. I like the legal background, which is related to my studies.”
“It gives me a chance to make a difference in someone else’s life in regards to their disability.”
“I like my job because I have variety, I have contact with people and I deal with clients. A little bit of everything.”
“I enjoy the people and the staff I work with. I’ve always had opportunities to advance and do different type of work in the office and I like change.”
Is there a specific case that has stood out to you, and why?
“Most of the clients are in the same boat, but some of them cry a lot on the phone or are super stressed out. When that file settles, that makes me feel pretty good.”
“I deal with a lot of the clients when they start with us. The ones that want to move forward in the process put trust into me and the company.”
“There was a lady a few weeks ago; she was very nice and we had the same name, so I connected with her; I could see that she was really suffering.”
What is the most rewarding part of your day?
“Booking a consultation and they’re excited about it and they thank you for listening”
Why should people choose Share Lawyers?
“A lot of people phone with complaints about their previous lawyer. They never get a response back; they feel it’s all about the money. I think the we have a different philosophy here. Part of our practice is caring and being there for our clients. Being there emotionally, not just legally. Someone like Shira makes a difference. We communicate well, we’re honest, we don’t waste our time but it’s an honest business.”
“Aside from the fact that I work here, we work really hard. The lawyers are awesome at what they do. I think everyone in general works really hard for the client, to benefit them and get as much in a settlement as possible. At the end of the day, we do try our best.”
“In a way, we help the client greatly. They come in with a disability and they need a helping hand with financial issues. We fight for them against the insurance company.”
“I think that it’s really helpful for those who don’t think there is help. When they find us they are so happy.”
“The service is great…when someone calls in, you don’t get voicemail, which can drive you crazy. We try to answer questions right away and that makes a huge difference.”
“Our commitment. We are committed to clients. We say in this office – we go above and beyond. If I had friends who were suffering, I would recommend Share Lawyers. I changed my perception about lawyers being here.”
“Cuz we’re awesome! We have a very good success rate I would say.”
“Personal Service. Every individual is dedicated to provide their best service and to be the best team member possible.”
“Because we’re compassionate people.”
“Honestly, I’ve been at a couple of firms. I love the way we work and operate. We make them feel like more than a client. We’re great at keeping them up to date about file status. Clients are important beyond the dollar figure.”
Why is disability law so important?
“People need to hire experts in this complex legal environment.”
“The insurance companies would be able to do what they want… the people who deserve these benefits, would be out of luck. They’d be hurting, out of money…”
“A lot of people live with a disability. A lot of people don’t know about what they are entitled to.”
“It helps people that feel a sense of helplessness. It’s normally regarding insurance companies, I can’t defeat them, they’re so big. We’re here to help them.”
“I think it’s important because we’re helping people get out of situations where they feel they have nowhere to go; we’re the light at the end of the tunnel.”
“I think it’s important to help people who have no clue how important it is to fight insurance companies.”
What are the most common diagnosis that you see in your clients?
“Depression and Fibromyalgia. Those are two main ones.”
“Depression – everybody is depressed – I am so surprised. Mental Health really counts. We should be talking about it more – it doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor.”
“Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Back Problems”
“Depression, Anxiety and Stress. Second one would be Chronic Pain and Fibromyalgia.”
“Depression and Anxiety – it’s the most common. Mental illnesses often don’t get recognized, unfortunately.”
“Depression and anxiety, I see that the most. There is a wide range.”
In your experience, how do clients feel when they start the process and how do they feel at the end of the process?
“In the beginning, they are anxious and stressed out and worried and those bad sort of feelings. In the end, they are relieved, glad it’s over, glad they can move on.”
“When they start, I think they’re kind of scared or concerned. They think nothing will come out of this. They have all of these problems. After a while, they start to gain confidence and trust in us. They see the outcome and they’re happy.”
“No matter what the result is, they appreciate that someone has defended them and that we’ve done the best for them.”
“I think initially, they may be hesitant with everything else that’s going on, towards the endthey seem happy and content with the results.”
“Starting the process, they’re pretty nervous, and by the end they’re thankful.”
“At the beginning they are overwhelmingly anxious and intimidated. Relieved and happy with the result at the end”
“At the start, I think they’re anxious, depressed and it depends on how their mental and physical illnesses are. Share Lawyers allowed me to focus on getting better.”
“At the beginning, I think they are scared and anxious. At the end, if they get close to what they want, they’re relieved. The process is over and they’re relieved and they can move on. “
“Starting, I feel that they feel very very overwhelmed, they don’t know where to start, hence why they make a call to the law firm. At the end, they’re grateful that someone is there to help them.”
What’s one thing that people might not know about Share Lawyers that they need to know?
We work hard, we’re very efficient. We do everything we can to get you the best result. It means you’re not just a person to us.”
“They should know that we 100% work as hard as we can for their benefit. Sometimes people don’t understand how much we’re working for them.”
“People need to understand that it’s a process that takes time. A lot of people expect it to be done the next day. People don’t realize that it’s a waiting game, it’s a process. If they’re patient, things work out. In terms of our clients, a lot of clients get nervous and feel like they’re cornered in a wall, even though they have a good case.”
“I see that the process of the case can take 8 – 10 months. We are always doing our best.”
I think that in general, people don’t know that they can sue insurance companies. When they get the final correspondence denying their claim, they think that’s it’s OVER. I’ve had people come in that they didn’t even know that they could sue the insurance and that we could help them.”
“Very understanding, very easy to work with and get along with. I’ve worked at prior law firms, where you feel intimidated talking to lawyers, it’s not like that here at all. There is no barrier and that makes it a very good environment to work in.”
“When people think of lawyers, they have this idea, that they keep dragging it on. With Share Lawyers, they really do try to keep in touch with all the clients, let them know what’s going on with their case. Share Lawyers is here to help you, like really help you.”
“We care. Everybody here cares!”
“It’s very cliché, but – we actually care about our clients. Every law firm might be saying it – there is some sort of compassion towards our clients. They shouldn’t feel intimidated to contact our firm.”
