SISIP (Service Income Security Plan) and Long Term Disability Benefits
Military Disabilities affect those who have given a tremendous sacrifice for their country. While fighting for our freedom, they suffered injuries that can be costly and timely to treat. Whether you are still active in the military or are a retired veteran, your injuries, whether physical or mental health related (including PTSD) can make it difficult to adjust to normal routines, social interactions or responsibilities.
SISIP LTD is a group Long Term Disability Benefit plan for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel. Manulife Financial is the insurance company providing these benefits. It provides Long Term Disability benefits for CAF personnel, whether they are released for medical reasons or leave the service voluntarily.

Submitting a Claim and Time Limits
All LTD claims have deadlines and time-frames to make claims. It is best to make inquiries about the deadlines that apply to you as soon as possible so that you do not miss any potential time limits or deadlines that could result in you not being able to pursue your benefits.
We understand the patience and compassion that is needed to handle such a case, together with the need for sound legal advice. When you are suffering you are not at your best, and need the steady, compassionate advice of experienced Toronto long term disability claim lawyers to assist you in navigating your way to fair and equitable resolution of your claim.
There are time limits to all claims and any delay in proceeding may be subject to a deadline so you should not delay in proceeding with your claim or obtaining legal advice to clarify these deadlines.
