As co-founder of Share Lawyers, Wendy oversees the marketing, financial and human resources for the firm. Wendy has a strong business and design background that has been instrumental in forming the core values of Share Lawyers. She oversaw the design and renovation of the company’s premises, and directs all aspects of the firm’s website, marketing, technology and staffing requirements. In addition, she supervises all initial contact made by prospective clients seeking legal representation, ensuring that client service gets a strong start from the very first encounter that individuals have with Share Lawyers about their claims.
Stuart Grodinsky, P.ENG
Director of Operations
Stuart Grodinsky is our Director of Operations, overseeing all of our strategic planning, technology and innovations. Stuart brings his Mechanical Engineering and business experience to the firm to help ensure we are constantly improving how work flows through our firm, and the services we can provide to our clients. Thanks to Stuart’s efforts, we have seen a significant reduction in the time it takes for Share Lawyers to handle a case from start to finish, directly impacting our happy clients. Stuart continues to strive to keep our level of client service top-notch and ahead of the curve on legal technology and innovation.
Manager, Legal Support
Christine has been working with Share Lawyers since 2003. She joined the firm as a junior law clerk and has since worked her way to Manager/Legal Support. Christine is involved in aspects of client and file management. She oversees our team of litigation clerks and assistants. Christine is involved in scheduling litigation matters, including mediations, discoveries and settlement meetings. Christine is also involved in drafting court documents, and in overseeing the administrative tasks associated with our clients’ settlements. She is the enthusiastic organizer of firm social events and is instrumental in providing ongoing support to lawyers, clerks and clients in all aspects of the litigation process.
Christine is certified by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario. She is a multi-tasker with a determined work ethic. Her dedication and hard work demonstrate how she prides herself working as part of the team at Share Lawyers.
Manager, Client Service
Adam graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He joined Share Lawyers in 2014. Adam is one of the representatives who handle enquiries from prospective clients looking for legal representation. He explains how the firm can assist and schedules free consultations for individuals who wish to speak with a lawyer about their case. Adam cares deeply for every client and works tirelessly to help each and every person who calls Share Lawyers.
Trish Aguiar has been with Share Lawyers since 2008 and brings over 10 years of experience to her role as the Scheduling Coordinator at Share Lawyers. She is known for her positive demeanor and for going above & beyond for clients. Trish is responsible for the scheduling of all Litigation matters for the firm such as mediations, JADR’s, examinations for discoveries, and settlement meetings. She also requests information from clients and third parties, prepares various legal documents, and responds to lawyer, adjuster, and client enquiries. Trish also prepares documentation to the courts required for mediations and settlement meetings. Trish believes in treating clients with respect and empathy and opposing Counsel and their staff with professional courtesy and integrity.
Senior Law Clerk
Sule Ozcan is a Law Clerk and has been with Share Lawyers since 2015. Sule graduated from York University with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology and thereafter, completed the Accelerated Paralegal Diploma program at Seneca College. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and is in good standing. Sule is actively involved in drafting, preparing and scheduling of pleadings, affidavits of documents, motion materials and trial records. She also supervises all undertaking requests. Sule is also an active member of our CPP-D team and is involved in handling all aspects of preparing CPP-D Reconsiderations and Tribunal submissions.
Joy Nastaskin is the Share Lawyers’ bookkeeper. Joy graduated from Seneca College in Computer Programming and has pursued continuing education in Legal Bookkeeping. Joy has been a member of the Share Lawyers team since 2007.
Senior Law Clerk, Client and Intake Services
Adam gained experience as a litigator in the UK where he advised in relation to a wide range of personal injury legal matters and gained a respected reputation in the area of personal injury law dealing with cases on behalf of Plaintiffs. He has a great deal of expertise in representing clients who have been left with serious and lifelong conditions and has run teams of lawyers focusing solely on recovering maximum damages for clients, all the way through to Trial. Adam’s favourite part of his job is connecting with clients and helping them in any way he can, at what can often be the most difficult time in their lives. He has a Law degree from The Open University and studied the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England. In his spare time, Adam enjoys travelling, music and learning about history.
Client Services Lead
Nathalie brings over twenty years of combined experience in legal client service, medical writing, pharmaceuticals and training to her present role as Client Service Lead with Share Lawyers. A proud member of the team for over ten years, Nathalie provides support to Share Lawyers’ current and prospective clients through her professional, compassionate and individual approach to each unique circumstance. By providing guidance and ensuring that any concerns are addressed swiftly, Nathalie helps clients to understand and navigate the process during what can often be very challenging times, so that together the best possible outcome can be achieved. Nathalie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Family and Social Relations from the University of Guelph.
Kate joined Share Lawyers in 2015. Kate’s role includes administrative support to lawyers in collecting client’s medical documents from third parties; organizing and filing discovery requests; preparing responses to opposing counsel.
Client Service Representative
Jen joined Share Lawyers as a Legal Assistant in the client services team in 2016. She is the first point of contact for prospective clients looking for legal representation. As a result of her role, she has a wide array of knowledge in how the firm operates and assists and schedules consultation for prospective clients. Her friendly and upbeat personality ensures clients will have a positive experience every time they call Share Lawyers.
Mileva is one of the firm’s friendly receptionists who welcome clients to the office as soon as they walk through our front doors. She directs phone calls; assists clients with appointments and enquiries; scans, prepares and files documents and arranges couriers. Mileva comes from an extensive administrative background with over a decade of experience. She not only brings her expertise but an acute attention to detail and a passion for success.
Rim Ismail is a Law Clerk and has been with Share Lawyers since 2018. Rim graduated from London Metropolitan University with Bachelor of Science in Computing and Information Systems. Rim completed the Paralegal Program at the Canadian Business College, obtained her Paralegal license and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and is in a good standing. Rim is actively involved in obtaining client’s medical documents from third parties, preparing responses to opposing counsel and scheduling Independent Medical Assessments.
Bookkeeper and Legal Assistant
Sylvia joined us in 2020 and is a Bookkeeper and Legal Assistant at Share Lawyers. She has a background in Legal Administrative and Accounting Assistant work, bringing several years of accounting, customer service and administrative experience to the firm. Sylvia originally graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies. After graduating from University in Australia, Sylvia moved to Canada and started a family. More recently, she graduated from George Brown College with a Legal Assistant Certificate. Outside the office, Sylvia loves to read, spend time with family and travel to and explore new destinations.
Legal Assistant & Client Service Representative
Camar joined Share Lawyers in 2018 as a Legal Assistant after graduating from Ryerson University with a B.Com in Law & Business Management. He is part of our Legal and Client Services Team. As a key member of both teams he is involved in many of the daily tasks at Share Lawyers ranging from document drafting and preparation to client enquiries. His soft spoken and calm demeanor provides clients with a positive and comforting interaction whenever they contact Share Lawyers.
Project Manager and IT Specialist
Dawn joined the Share Lawyers team in 2018. Her role involves supporting our legal team and staff with technology solutions, improving and adjusting our processes to ensure that cases proceed as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Dawn graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2015 and has worked in Client Service, IT, and Operations. She takes pride in solving problems and making sure everyone at our firm is well-supported in their work for our clients.
Roshai is a part of our Law Clerks and Client Services Team who joined Share Lawyers in 2019. Roshai is one of the first point of contacts for clients looking for legal representation. Roshai actively opens new files, obtains documentation to help build clients cases, as well as assists the Client Service Lawyers. Roshai also currently assists our clients in completing their LTD Applications. Roshai graduated in 2016 from the Centennial College Law Clerk program and her expertise and friendly personality aids clients to have a positive and comfortable experience at all times.
Camille joined the Share Lawyers team in 2019 after working at a Personal Injury Law firm in Toronto for several years. Camille graduated from Centennial College with her Law Clerk Diploma in 2017. At Share Lawyers, Camille is involved in drafting Affidavit of Documents, obtaining productions and producing answers for undertakings, and is passionate about helping people in need.
Senior Law Clerk
Volker Triebe is a Senior Law Clerk at Share Lawyers, having joined the firm in 1998. Volker obtained a Para-Legal Diploma (with Honours) in 1999. He has since taken several college and university level courses in philosophy, art and photography. As a member of the Share Lawyers team, Volker is involved in all aspects of document drafting and preparation, client enquiries, scheduling court dates, as well as document production reviews and requests.
Layla joined Share Lawyers in 2014. She has experience in and prepares Court documents, summarizes medical records and prepares briefs for Mediation. Layla has gained 11 years’ experience in the UK working mainly as a litigator on behalf of Plaintiffs in complex personal injury claims and also has experience dealing with counterclaims made against Plaintiffs. Layla received her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2006 from the University of Birmingham and attended BPP Law School in 2008 where she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Layla qualified as a Lawyer in the UK in 2019, after finalizing her legal qualifications through the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Brent Paul joined Share Lawyers in 2019, following a successful and extensive career in litigation adjudication, spanning a period in excess of 30 years both in insurance defense and pro plaintiff capacities. His role with the firm includes assisting lawyers in file reviews and completing draft mediation briefs.
Stephanie is an Intake Clerk working with the Client Services Team at Share Lawyers and has been with us since 2020. Stephanie is a first point of contact for many of our clients, taking details of their claim and setting up a free consult with one of our legal representatives. Stephanie also assists clients with signing and returning documents needed at the start of the case and assists with various marketing activities. Stephanie is a graduate of Concordia University, having studied a Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology and Sociology, with a minor in Theology and Political Science).
