The insurance company is adamant that I can work. My professional licence is suspended. What now?

If you are disabled from working at your own occupation because of a medical condition, then you might still recover disability benefits, even if your professional licence has been suspended or revoked. If the suspension arose prior to any disabling condition, then you might not be able to recover disability benefits because you are not legally permitted to work at your professional occupation, rather than because of a medical condition. These situations are usually complex. When benefits are denied, it should be reviewed by an insurance lawyer.
